SkinCeuticals C E Ferulic

SkinCeuticals C E Ferulic

I haven’t really cared much about anti-aging products much less about SkinCeuticals C E Ferulic until now, at 31, when I look at my smiling image in the mirror and realized that my wrinkles are a little bit abnormal.  I mean, I can take these slight crow’s feet on the sides of my eyes when I break into a wide smile.  These signify that I smile a lot and that I’m good-natured (which I really am) but when there are wrinkles on the area of your cheekbones even when you’re just having one of those relaxed looks therefore using the minimum amount of facial muscles, it becomes a different story.  You start thinking if spending too much time in front of the computer is taking its toll on  your skin or if you need to stay in the house (preferably with the lights off which is never going to be a good idea for someone as sociable as me) for a very long time.  So when somebody mentioned SkinCeuticals C E Ferulic to me, I knew that I needed to know more about it.

What is SkinCeuticals C E Ferulic?

According to the product’s official website,

C E Ferulic® is a revolutionary antioxidant combination that delivers advanced protection against photoaging – neutralizing free radicals, helping build collagen, and providing unmatched antioxidant protection. More protection means more youthful looking skin and better defense against environmental aging.

SkinCeuticals C E Ferulic contains pure L-ascorbic acid, 1% alpha tocopherol and ferulic acid.  According to the site, the combination of these elements make the product into a super-antioxidant.

Why should I believe that SkinCeuticals C E Ferulic is a super-antioxidant?

I’m not exactly physically vain but when people start guessing you look more forty-ish rather than your true age of 31, you lean over to vanity’s side and look for solutions.  And when one of these solutions, the SkinCeuticals C E Ferulic, contains ingredients that you don’t really know much about, you begin to do your homework and research.

Vitamin C in SkinCeuticals C E Ferulic

Fruits with vitamin C

L-ascorbic acid is just a more technical term for Vitamin C which is basically a strong antioxidant and also good for your immune system (I should know because I take in a daily dose of Vitamin C).  For years now, skin care companies are infusing their products with Vitamin C.  If you want to know more about it, check this site I’ve found right here that talks about Vitamin C in detail.  Anyway, SkinCeuticals C E Ferulic is made of 15% pure Vitamin C.

Alpha tocopherol is one of the four form of Vitamin E which is also a popular ingredient in most skin regimen.  Vitamin E is also a potent antioxidant that fights against lipid peroxidation (a process that results to cell damage) and free radicals.  SkinCeuticals C E Ferulic contains 1% alpha tocopherol.

One more antioxidant  in SkinCeuticals C E Ferulic is the ferulic acid.  It is present in most seeds and plant leaves like the bran of wheat, rice and oats. According to this site, ferulic acid is known to have synergistic and stabilizing properties when combined with other antioxidants.  These three main components make SkinCeuticals C E Ferulic a super-antioxidant.

What do SkinCeuticals C E Ferulic reviews say about the product?

Well, I’ve discovered three adjectives that describe the product so far: great, best and recommended.

One review blog said that

SkinCeuticals C E Ferulic is the best anti-aging product when it comes to eliminating deep wrinkles, age spots and blemishes.

Another  reviewer said that

she would recommend the product for those with Actinic Keratosis (a skin condition that may develop into skin cancer), uneven skin tone and large pores.

I say, I should give this product a try.  I mean, SkinCeuticals C E Ferulic has Vitamins C and E as well as ferulic acid –what more can I ask for?
